LONG ROAD

Promised me life a long way,
Far from home, from the motherland, from the people.
This road takes me further and further,
In the boundless valleys of the universe.

Which has no end, no edge,
Oh, how endless this road is.
As if spinning around the globe,
Like a squirrel spinning in a wheel.

Sometimes the legs are hurt by stones, splinters,
Sometimes they swell from gravity.
But we must move forward, for this is what God wants,
Walk with your feet in your hands.

Go without looking back
At the same time, without shedding a drop of a tear.
Somewhere the Almighty Himself is calling me,
At the end of this long road?!

And I just keep walking and walking
Past the cities and countries of the white world.
Where are you. my invisible goal
The purpose of my life, for what am I going through life?

দীর্ঘ পথ (Bengali version)

আমাকে জীবনের দীর্ঘ পথের প্রতিশ্রুতি দেয়া হল
বাড়ি,মাতৃভূমি ও মানুষ থেকে অনেক অনেক দূরে।
এই পথ আমাকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে আরও সামনে,
মহাবিশ্বের সীমাহীন উপত্যকায়।

যার কোন শেষ নেই, প্রান্ত নেই,
আহা, এই পথ কতটা অন্তহীন!
পৃথিবীটা যেন চাকার মধ্যে ঘুরছে,
যেমন কাঠবিড়ালি ঘুরপাক খায়।

কখনও পাথর, স্প্লিন্টারে ক্ষতবিক্ষত পা,
কখনও কখনও মাধ্যাকর্ষণে ফুলে উঠে
তবু এগিয়ে যেতে হবে, এটি ঈশ্বরের চাওয়া,
প্রয়োজনে পায়ের বদলে হাতে হাঁটতে হবে।

পিছন ফিরে না তাকিয়ে সামনে চলো
কষ্টবোধ ও এক ফোঁটা অশ্রু ঝরানো ছাড়া।
স্বয়ং সর্বশক্তিমান সেথায় ডাকছেন আমায়
তবে তিনি কি এই দীর্ঘ পথের শেষে?

তাই আমি শুধু হাঁটছি আর হাঁটছি
সফেদ পৃথিবীর শহর, দেশ পেরিয়ে
আমার অদৃশ্য লক্ষ্যের সন্ধানে ছুটি
কী উদ্দেশ্যে, কেন জীবন উৎসর্গিত ?
